Doorways in China

My fascination with doors and doorways continued from New Orleans on to China! There's so much symbolic meaning behind them. And the doors in China have such great stories.  The number of beams above a door will tell you how rich a person is, 4 being the highest.  Most doors in China are made with thresholds on the bottom in order to keep ghosts out and to keep money in.  Also, sometimes they look like faces and it makes me happy.
